Candessa's Story



In 2008 I started Miss LaVie's School of Loving Arts in an effort to focus my energy on the positive aspects of human touch; happiness, joy, love, safety, and self-worth.

 

My profession as a Crisis Nurse has shown me how unwanted touch can result in pain and negativity. In addition, I have taught people of all ages, race, sexual identity, physical ability, economic status and even those incarcerated how to respect not only others, but also themselves.

As an officially trained Cuddle Party Facilitator it is my job to create a safe environment where non-sexual, healthy, healing touch can take place among strangers. I am available to aid anyone in attendance during the party as well as after as needed.
